Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Psychological Distress among Fresh Graduates during COVID-19 Pandemic in Zhejiang, China: The Mediating Role of Coping

With the destructive COVID-19 issues in China, problem of job satisfaction has influenced more and people, especially fresh graduates. Although existing research discovered association between psychological distress, this study made contributions to knowledge base future researchers by investigating mediation effect coping on above relationship. Fresh Graduates (N=384) completed questionnaires namely Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form, 4-item Brief Resilient Coping Scale, The 10-item Kessler Psychological Distress Scale. Results showed there is a negative relationship would partially mediate It was seen that related with higher coping, while individuals lower are likely experience levels which may have impact their mental health well-being. This provides implications for society, policymakers, employers, universities be aware significance fostering promoting healthy strategies order improve well-being graduates entering workforce during difficult periods.
